Flying the flag

C-TEC has been officially nominated as one of the UKs outstanding examples of manufacturing excellence in the Governments prestigious Made by Britain initiative. Its innovative Hush Button Fire Alarm Solution has also been hailed a remarkable success.

As a result, we will be joining other top British companies including Cadburys, Aga, Bentley, LCD Technology, Morgan Motors and Range Rover at a modern day Grand Exhibition in London to celebrate the Crème de la Crème of contemporary British Manufacturing after being nominated by Yvonne Fovargue MP as the best example of design, innovation and manufacturing excellence in her constituency.

Inspired by Prince Alberts Great Exhibition 160 years ago, and jointly organized by the Associate Parliamentary Manufacturing Group and the 1851 Royal Commission, the event has been timed to coincide with The Queens Diamond Jubilee next year.

Said Ms Fovargue: C-TEC is a successful and innovative business with ambitious plans for the future. She singled out the companys award-winning Hush Button as being particularly deserving of praise by saying that: This innovative product places C-TEC as a world leader in the field of fire protection due to its potential to save thousands of lives.

Commented Managing Director, Andrew Foster: I am absolutely thrilled that C-TEC has been nominated for such a important initiative as it cements our reputation as manufacturers of world-class life-safety products and recognizes C-TECs Hush Button as being a significant breakthrough in the battle against false alarms. 2011 marks C-TECs 30th Anniversary and I can think of no better way of celebrating this milestone in the companys history than by sharing a platform with some of the UKs most-esteemed manufacturers.

C-TECs extensive range of fire alarm control panels, call systems, voice alarms and disability products, many of which are third-party approved, are currently protecting and improving the lives of thousands of people worldwide. The company will shortly be relocating to new premises to facilitate an increase in the production of its most popular products and set the stage for further expansion.
